| I'm sure he'd love to sell you some new rotors, unless they have already been cut down to the minimum, I dont see why you wouldnt get them cut. I had pretty bad shaking under hard braking and had worn one pad so badly that I initially thought (and was suggested by other members) that my calipers needed to be rebuilt. I recut my rotors, installed new OEM pads. Car brakes great now, as far as street use is concerned. I suppose if you wanted to upgrade to better pads, hawk (hps?) would be the way to go from what I hear, but I have to wonder what tangible difference they would actually make. Not that they aren't designed better, but as far as a "pespi challenge" is concerned, could you actually tell the difference if you didnt know they were installed? I'm of the opinion that unless you go with bigger rotors/calipers (more swept area) the advantages of "upgrading" in any lesser manner are negligible and therefore just a wate of money considering how they are going to be applicated 99% of the time. Were you unhappy with the OEM brakes? Do you go to open track days or auto-X alot?
